Data Interpretation (RRB)

Chart Types:

1. Table: rows × columns. Read carefully.
2. Bar chart: vertical/horizontal bars. Compare values.
3. Pie chart: 360° = 100%. Sector value = (angle/360) × total.
4. Line chart: trend over time.
5. Caselet: paragraph with numbers — convert to table.

RRB-style DI questions:

1. Find value from table/chart.
2. Sum / difference / ratio.
3. Average across periods.
4. Percentage growth (period-on-period).
5. Compound multi-step problems.

Time-saver:

• Read questions first (which data to extract).
• Approximate when options are spread (e.g., 23.4% vs 28%).
• Don't compute exact decimals unless needed.

RRB-NTPC pattern: typically 1 DI set with 5 questions in CBT-2.
