Terms of use

These Terms govern your use of PrepAtlas, operated by Anirudh Vaka as an individual founder under the brand name PrepAtlas. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service description

PrepAtlas is an EdTech software platform providing chapter notes, practice questions, timed mock tests, daily current affairs, bookmarks, streaks, and progress analytics for Indian students and exam aspirants. It is a self-study tool — not a coaching institute, not a registered educational institution, and not affiliated with any exam authority or government body.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 14 years old to use PrepAtlas. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must consent to your use. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Plans, pricing, and payments

PrepAtlas offers a free tier and optional paid passes. Paid passes are yearly subscriptions and auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your profile. Payments are processed by Razorpay. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not share your account with others.
  • Do not scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or paywalls.
  • Do not use PrepAtlas to generate, share, or encourage harmful, illegal, or dishonest content.

5. User content

Some features let you post content (doubt threads, squad posts). You retain ownership of what you post, but grant PrepAtlas a licence to display it within the platform. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors. Do not share personal contact details or spam. We may review, remove, or restrict user content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Educational content disclaimer

PrepAtlas provides study materials, practice tools, explanations, and current affairs summaries for learning support only. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every note, question, or explanation is error-free. Always cross-check with official syllabi (linked from each exam page) and official notifications before relying on content for high-stakes decisions.

7. AI-assisted content disclaimer

Some PrepAtlas content is produced with AI assistance and reviewed by our team. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Treat all PrepAtlas content as study support, not as a definitive or authoritative source.

8. No guarantee of exam results

PrepAtlas does not guarantee any exam result, rank, interview, job, or selection. We provide tools to help you prepare consistently and track your progress. Your outcome depends on your own effort, eligibility, and preparation.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content structure, branding, and original study materials, is owned by Anirudh Vaka under the brand name PrepAtlas and protected by law. Linked-to material (NCERT, NTA, UPSC, SSC, etc.) remains the property of its respective source. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute PrepAtlas original content without permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PrepAtlas and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on study content for exam outcomes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.

12. Community & peer interaction

Some features let you interact with other learners (study partners, squads, doubt threads). You agree not to post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors, and not to share personal contact details or spam. We comply with applicable Indian law, including the POCSO Act, 2012, and will remove and report child sexual abuse material. Report abuse to grievance@prepatlas.in.

13. Grievance redressal

For complaints about content, conduct, or your data, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@prepatlas.in — acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, in line with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, 2023.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PrepAtlas shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
