Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: email + name (for sign-in and personalized greetings).
• Study progress: quiz attempts, test results, bookmarks, AI doubt sessions — used only to personalize your dashboard and plan.
• Preferences: target exam, daily study minutes, language preference.

What we don't collect

• Device contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
• Browsing history outside PrepAtlas.
• Children's data without parental consent (we are designed for ages 14+).

Where data lives

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure in their AWS region. Row Level Security policies enforce that you can only read/write your own attempts, bookmarks, plans, and AI sessions. Admin staff have access to platform-level content (chapters, questions) but not to per-user study data.

Third-party services

• Supabase — auth, database, storage.
• Razorpay — payment processing (only if you upgrade to Premium).
• AI provider — your AI doubt questions are sent to the model provider with retrieved chapter context. We do not send your name, email or other identifying info.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@prepatlas.in. Account deletion removes all associated rows within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies (auth session). No tracking pixels. Analytics, when enabled, will be self-hosted PostHog with IP anonymization.
